Both Goostrey and Holmes Chapel have a railway station on the main Manchester - London line with frequent services, plus bus links to the rest of Cheshire.

Around The Area

Holly and Ivy Cottage are located on Hollins Farm a working dairy farm set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. 
The farm is located between the small village of Goostrey and larger village of Holmes Chapel, which is just a five minute drive away. 
Goostrey has a thriving community and there are lots of activities on offer should you wish to get involved in village life. There are two pubs and some excellent village shops and cafes. The Trading Post (just a mile away) sells a wide range of local food and produce, including freshly-baked pizzas, pies, pastries and cakes.
Holmes Chapel has a larger community and there are several small supermarkets and independent shops. There are also pubs, restaurants, take-aways, hairdressers and a bank.

Around The Farm

Hollins Farm has a quiet lake and walks for you to enjoy during your stay. These are well away from the working part of the farm, and are a really relaxing environment.

There is a herb garden outside the cottages, which is a lovely place to sit and contemplate the world! It is nice spot to have breakfast during the warmer months.

Guests are welcome to explore the farm (but please remember it is a working farm, and some areas can be hazardous)..
